Opvera service terms
The Opvera Terms of Service describe the service agreement, availability, acceptable use, third-party integrations, billing, disclaimers, and termination. Your organization’s separate written agreement may also apply.
Task is a companion for authorized restaurant locations and employees. The native app does not provide subscription checkout; company administrators manage the service through Opvera.
Authorized store and employee access
Managers are responsible for pairing devices to the correct store, assigning employee permissions, and removing access when it is no longer needed. Keep pairing codes and PINs private. Use your own PIN for work you record and lock shared devices between employees.
Do not access another store without authorization, impersonate another employee, bypass access controls, or submit false records.
Restaurant records and content
Upload and connect only information your organization has the right to use. Your organization remains responsible for its recipes, procedures, training content, photos, notes, and other records. Opvera processes that information to provide, secure, support, and troubleshoot the service as described in its terms and privacy policy.
Enter accurate measurements and work records. Review photos, signatures, dates, label content, training responses, and manager approvals before submitting them.
Operational responsibility
Your restaurant remains responsible for food safety, employee practices, training, equipment, and compliance decisions. Check sensor readings, alert delivery, printer output, and connected-system information. Software, network connections, or third-party services can be unavailable or incorrect.
Follow your restaurant’s procedures when a workflow fails. For an uncertain print result, check the physical printer before sending another label.
Ending access and privacy requests
Stopping use, revoking a device, or removing a PIN is separate from erasing employee information. See Task privacy for employee data requests and Task support for access help.
